At the Bavarian Judo Championships for male youth under 15, two athletes from DJK Ensdorf took to the mat – and both fought for a place on the podium. In the weight class up to 40 kg, Daniel Bulinger was defeated by the eventual Bavarian champion Philipp Bayer from the host SV Gold-Blau Augsburg after a first win in the second fight and made it into the small final with two victories in the consolation round. In the fight for bronze, the Ensdorfer prevailed against the southern Bavarian champion Elias Antosch from TuS Holzkirchen with the highest rating (ippon).

In the weight class over 66 kg, Jonas Scharping fought his way to the final. There, an exciting fight developed against Samuel Bischof from JT Ansbach, in which Bischof took the lead, which the Ensdorfer could not catch up with despite courageous attacks. The joy about the silver medal was enormous.

Both Bulinger and Scharping qualified with their placements for the southern German championship in Backnang (Baden-Württemberg).
