Shaqueel van Persie currently plays for the U16 of Feyenoord, where his father is an assistant coach. Van Persie junior has now signed a professional contract until mid-2025.
“I’ve been playing for this club since I was 10. This is an extra special day for me,” says Shaqueel van Persie. “Feyenoord feels like a kind of second home to me. The supporters, the stadium, everything is just beautiful here. My dream is ultimately to play in De Kuip and do well there.”

He is insightful, has an excellent winning mentality, scores easily and shows that he is a real leader during training and matches. His first contract is therefore a nice reward for him.”
Shaqueel van Persie previously played in the youth academy of Manchester City. At Feyenoord, the left leg is currently in his 5th season and is one of the attackers and also captain of Feyenoord U16.
