The Navarra Arena Pavilion in Pamplona was in charge of hosting the Spanish Children’s Judo Championship last Sunday. Sergio Sanz Aragonés participated in it. He did it in the category of -42 kilograms, forming part of the Selection of Castilla y León.
In his first year in the Children’s Category, Sergio managed to proclaim himself Autonomous Champion. In this way, he managed to qualify for the Spanish Championship. Once there, Sergio made it through the first two rounds, placing in the quarterfinals. At that time, he could not with the representative of Aragon.
Already in the repechage, he played an even match against the Canarian representative, who finally defeated him. Even so, Sergio Sanz Aragonés has obtained a meritorious ninth position that places him as one of the most outstanding judokas.
