For PSG, the season ended on May 21, with the 5-0 victory over Metz, an evening when the tenth French champion trophy in club history was presented, but also farewells from Di Maria and of the announcement of Kylian Mbappé’s extension. But for the national selections, there are still matches to be played by mid-June. Fifteen PSG players are called up to play these matches, to which must be added Leandro Paredes, not present on the list of Argentina, but has returned to his country to recover from his injury and his operation.

Most European internationals will play matches counting for the Nations League, until June 14 at the latest. On this occasion, several clashes between Parisian teammates are planned. Are in particular on the bridge: Pablo Sarabia with Spain, Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappé with France, Thilo Kehrer with Germany, but also the Portuguese Nuno Mendes and Danilo Pereira, touched in the ankle and uncertain for the first days of the gathering. All will play four games in this competition, starting June 2. This will also be the case for two Italians, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Verratti, who will play an extra match before that against Argentina.

Indeed, Angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi will meet their teammates on the occasion of the ” Final “, meeting which opposes the two champions of Europe and South America in title. For Argentina, no friendly match has yet been announced, but we can expect other meetings to be added to this meeting scheduled for June 1st. The same goes for the Brazil of Marquinhos and Neymar, who currently only have two scheduled matches on the calendar, June 2 and 6.

Finally, among the selected PSG who will soon play high-stakes matches, Keylor Navas will keep the goal for Costa Rica on June 14, in a play-off against New Zealand qualifying for the World Cup. Idrissa Gueye and Abdou Diallo have two African Cup of Nations qualifying matches on the schedule with Senegal, with the second taking place on June 7.

The majority of internationals should therefore play their last match around June 10, before starting a few weeks of rest. All PSG players should therefore not be present at the resumption of training, scheduled for July 4 by Mauricio Pochettino.
