SEA Games 2021: Muhammad Zul Ilmi Gives Indonesia the 60th Gold Medal from Weightlifting : Okezone Sports

HANOI – Indonesia’s gold medal at the 2021 SEA Games has increased again. This time, the gold medal was obtained from the sport (sports) of weightlifting through the actions of Muhammad Zul Ilmi.

Appearing at the Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center, Vietnam, on Sunday (22/5/2022) morning WIB, Muhammad Zul Ilmi performed well at the men’s 89 kg number. Ilmi managed to lift the load with a total lift of 337 kg.

In the snatch, Ilmi lifted 143 kg and 147 kg in her first two attempts. Then, on his last try, he was able to lift a weight of 150 kg.

Meanwhile, in the clean & jerk class, Ilmi failed on her first attempt at 183 kg. However, he managed to lift the same weight on his second attempt and was able to record a lift of 187 kg on his last attempt.

With this total force, Ilmi conquered the score of the host represented, Anh Bui Tuan, who was three kilograms away from him, which was 334 kg. He did the snatch lifts weighing 147 kg and 187 kg for the clean & jerk lifts.

While the bronze medal was won by the Thai envoy, Phaharamethi Tharaphan. The representative of the State of the White Elephant was only able to record a total lift of 325 kg, which was obtained from the snatch force weighing 140 kg and the clean & jerk lift weighing 185 kg.

Now, Indonesia has already packed 60 gold medals. Indonesia’s gold medal coffers have the opportunity to increase again from a number of sports. One of them is badminton.

Passing 3 representatives to the final, Indonesia has ensured a gold medal from badminton because it created all Indonesian finals in the men’s doubles sector.
