The traditional Ufolep badminton tournament was well attended. The players came from all over the department and even more.
Recently, the traditional UFOLEP badminton tournament was held at the Salle de l’Albaret, organized by the animation house “Lo Capial” under the supervision of Etienne Gautier. First of all, it was strongly advised to come in disguise and bring your good mood. The day started with a breakfast offered by the organizers who also offered pancakes and cakes throughout the day. But the 28 doubles teams from all over the department and even from Toulouse also came to play many matches offered by mixing pool of four then as part of a consolation and a main tournament, i.e. a total of nearly 80 meetings which took place in self-refereeing and in an excellent atmosphere. The day ended with the awarding of prizes to all the participants. For the consoling table, the winners are Pauline and Etienne de Saint-Juéry ahead of Dimitri and Joël (Saint-Juéry and Salies) and third, Florent and Marie (Saint-Juéry and Toulouse). For the main draw the big winners are Alexane and Florian (Saint-Juéry and Lescure) who managed to dominate in the final, after a high level match, the double of Payrin composed by Alexis and Jules. The podium is completed by Nicolas and Symon from Castres. In the first 16 are three other teams from the badminton section of Capial whose players were present in 11 teams. The organizers during the closing pot thanked the municipality for making the Albaret facilities available and all the participants for this day combining sport and conviviality.
