On Monday May 2, Céline Lacourrege, teacher, and Gilbert Donnet, president of the Judo Club de la Douze, organized a school judo day in partnership with the Ligue Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The four classes of the Sarbazan school – i.e. 97 pupils – were initiated by Cathy Arnaud, one of the five French women 8e Dan, Olympic medalist, three times world champion, four times in Europe and five times in France! The prize list of this great lady of French judo, of which she is now the ambassador, did not fail to astonish the young participants.
