Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo collapsed in the middle of the 2021-2022 Spanish League match against Celta Vigo at Camp Nou on Tuesday (10/5/2022) or Wednesday morning WIB

BOLASPORT.COM – Barcelona’s 3-1 victory in the match week 36 of the 2021-2022 Spanish League against Celta Vigo was marked by the collapse of Ronald Araujo in the middle of the match.

In the match which was held at Camp Nou on Tuesday (10/5/2022) or Wednesday morning WIB, Ronald Araujo started as a starter to fill the Barcelona defense.

Disaster appeared in the 61st minute when Ronald Araujo clashed with his own partner, Gavi.

When he was about to head the ball, Araujo’s head hit the back of Gavi’s head.

After the incident, Araujo actually got up and ran to take his place, but then collapsed.

Seeing this condition, Celta Vigo players, Iago Aspas, and Barca defender Eric Garcia immediately approached Araujo and asked the medical staff for help.

The Uruguayan defender had time to get serious treatment with an ambulance on to the field.

In the end, the ambulance had to take him out of the stadium with the player’s name hailed by Barcelona fans as motivation.
