Isco’s time at Real Madrid ends after nine years. His coach Carlo Ancelotti announces the departure of the midfielder.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced Isco will leave Los Blancos in the summer. The Italian informed the journalists after the 0-0 in the last LaLiga game against Real Betis. The 30-year-old’s contract expires at the end of June, allowing him to leave Real for free.

“Isco’s time at Real Madrid ends today,” said Ancelotti, who ruled out an appearance in the upcoming Champions League final. “It was a great time,” he added, reflecting on the midfielder’s nine years. Against Real Betis he had replaced Isco again in the second half.

Isco part of a golden Real era

Isco joined Madrid in 2013 from Malaga FC. With Real, he then won the Champions League four times, was Spanish champion three times and won the cup once.

Isco’s path is said to lead to FC Sevilla in the summer, to which he is said to have already given his commitment for a change.
