PITCHER SETH FRANKOFF COMES TO THE RED DEVILS – Diablos Rojos del México

Mexico City- The American pitcher Seth Frankoff arrives at the Red Devils of Mexico to, in the next few days, join the pitching staff of the Ninth Scarlet.

The pitcher born in Raleigh, North Carolina, was selected in the 2010 Draft by the Oakland Athletics and played three seasons in the Major Leagues (2017, 2020 and 2021), accumulating seven appearances, three of them as a starter. In that time in MLB he added 19.1 innings of work.

The right-hander has a repertoire of four pitches, which are a four-seam fastball (91 mph), cutter (88 mph), changeup (88 mph) and curveball (78 mph).

Frankoff joins the team in the city of Laredo to begin his adaptation and physical preparation process of a few days, in which he will develop a job that includes live batting practice (live batting practice). At the end of this activity, he will be added to the roster.

Seth has experience in winter baseball as he has played in both the LIDOM (Dominican Republic Professional League) and the LVBP (Venezuelan Professional Baseball League), where he has pitched for the Estrellas Orientales, Navegantes del Magallanes and Leones del Caracas, respectively. He also has a stint in Asian baseball, as he played for the Doosan Bears of the KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) in 2018 and 2019. Last year he returned to the Major Leagues with the Arizona Dbacks, with whom he pitched 14.2 tickets.
