Phoenix and Miami in NBA before semifinals

The Phoenix Suns are on track to advance to the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoff semifinals. The top-ranked team in the Western Conference clearly prevailed 110:80 in the fifth duel of the series against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. The Suns are now 3-2 up in the best of seven series.

Miami Heat also made it 3-2 in the East thanks to a 120-85 win against the Philadelphia 76ers. The next games will take place again on Thursday in Dallas and Philadelphia.

Dallas kept the first half open in Phoenix before the home side, led by Devin Booker (28 points) and Deandre Ayton (20), won the third quarter 33-14. The “Mavs” around their star Luka Doncic (28 points, eleven rebounds) were no longer able to counter.

There was also a clear defeat for Philadelphia. Miami kept the pace high from the start and had the best pitcher in Jimmy Butler (23 points). Seven Heat players had double-digit scoring. Joel Embiid (17 points) and James Harden (14) fell short of their potential at Philadelphia.
