• In the first set, Aama and Chan were superior, breaking Latvian and Czech services in the fifth and ninth games.
• As the game continued, the Asian tennis players were in a good position to reach the quarterfinals, but Ostapenko and Pliškova managed to make up for the break-in deficit and win four games in a row. The Latvian and Czech could not serve the set, but again broke the opponent’s serve and won the second set with 7: 5.
