The Pass’sport Europe will take place on May 14 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Couderc sports park in Montigny-le-Bretonneux. The opportunity for the municipality of Ignymont to celebrate both Europe – Europe Day takes place on May 9 –, but also the arrival of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Young Ignymontains aged 6 to 18 will leave discovering the emblematic sports of each of the six towns twinned with Montigny: handball for Germany (town of Kierspe), baseball for Lunca in Romania (oina being a traditional Romanian sport close to baseball), rugby for Ireland (Wicklow), football for England (Denton), field hockey for Spain (San Fernando) and basketball for Italy (Marostica). Blind football, quiz and surf workshop on an inflatable structure are also on the program. Participants will then have their ”Pass’sport” stamped. Information and reservations on montigny78.fr.
