Until then, however, the motto is: stay busy and train, train, train!” says JC Bundesliga fighter Eugen Müller, who this time helped out in the U11s as a supervisor and coached alongside coach Sven Helbing. He said: “It’s nice that the kids often get in touch and relate to the big fighters. After all, they are the role models and at some point the little ones want to be on the Bundesliga mat.”

JC 66 Bottrop: Coaches are satisfied

The trainers were very satisfied with the performance, even if there is still one or the other technique that needs to be improved. “Of course, the children are far from finished in their development. There is always something new to learn. I really liked the appearance. Above all, off the mat we have grown into a real team. And the fact that integration also works great for us can be seen from the many different countries of origin of our JC pirates. With Armenia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkey and Chechnya, a lot was there in addition to the German kids. And everyone gets along like friends. That’s how it should always be in judo and, if possible, beyond that,” says Helbing happily.
