Novak Djokovic wins the round of 16 against Diego Schwartzman 6: 1, 6: 3, 6: 3. The Argentinian seemed to be able to keep up quite well at the start of every set, before the Djoker didn’t miss a single set at the end. Again and again the Serb managed to put Schwartzman under pressure with well-placed shots and showed why he is one of the tournament favourites. Schwartzman shows in individual rallies how he could put Djokovic under pressure, but in the end he made far too many mistakes that were not put under pressure. In the end, 45 unforced errors were too many to cause problems for the world number one. Djokovic is thus in the quarterfinals of the French Open and is waiting for the winner of Felix Auger-Aliassime’s game against Rafael Nadal.
