NFL legend Tom Brady stars in new Netflix project

Tom Brady continues to diversify his activities. The 44-year-old American football star is slowly approaching the end of his career. Nevertheless, the quarterback is doing everything to postpone the deadline as much as possible, as evidenced by his recent short retirement of 40 days last winter. Next season, Tom Brady will therefore be present in the jersey of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to take part in his 23rd season in the NFL. Recently, the American signed an XXL contract to become a consultant at “Fox Sports” at the end of his career. Tom Brady will thus receive nearly $375 million over 10 years for his future role.

From now on, it is with Netflix that Tom Brady will associate. The streaming platform has indeed revealed this Tuesday, May 17 that the man with seven Super Bowls will be the headliner of a new program, entitled “Greatest Roasts of All Tome”, namely “The greatest mockery of the ‘story”. The purpose of this new project will be to invite celebrities into the show so that they are ridiculed and shot down by comedians or acquaintances. Netflix broke the news in a tongue-in-cheek post on Twitter: “Gisele Bündchen’s husband, Tom Brady, will be in the hot seat for “Greatest Roasts of All Time,” the first in a series of new specials. The pilot filming to be attended by Tom Brady will take place in 2023 after the NFL season, as indicated Variety. Note that the 44-year-old man will also have a producer role on the show.

Robbie Praw, VP of Stand-Up and Comedy Formats at Netflix, humorously shared his delight in welcoming Tom Brady: “We can’t wait to take down quarterback Tom Brady, who lost the Super Bowl three times and only returned to the NFL to delay that deadline. Seriously, it’s a great pleasure to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project. Nobody’s better at taking hits and getting away with it, so we know it’ll be a breeze for Brady.
