Near Rodez: five sessions to discover jujitsu and self-defense with the judo club

From Thursday, May 19, the Judo Club invites you to take part in a free series of five jujitsu-self-defense classes at the Doline dojo from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. These initiation sessions are reserved for a public adult.

An ancestor of judo, jujitsu offers a whole system of techniques combining projections, immobilizations, foot-fist techniques, locks, strangulations… in which the self-defense approach offers the best responses to situations of assault.

The series of five sessions is built in a perspective of progression allowing to discover and practice some basic techniques intended to answer or avoid some of the aggressions that one can undergo on a daily basis.

It should be noted that if the proposed activities are indeed intended to train you to acquire reflexes and behaviors adapted to the management of conflict situations, they are not intended to make you an expert in martial arts. Jujitsu and Self Defense as they are offered are part of a physical activity within everyone’s reach.

Thus the practice which can be carried out indifferently in sportswear or in kimono, also aims at the objective of a muscular and fundamental development of the practitioner.

To learn more and practice jujitsu, come join the club for this series of five discovery sessions starting Thursday, May 19.

Free sessions on Thursdays May 19, June 2, 9, 16 and 23.
