Green light to the agreement signed by the Municipality of Terni, the Italian Federation of Archery and Archers of the City of Terni for the use of the Archery Training Center. The president of the Terni company, Stefano Tombesi, stated in this regard: “By June 13, the definitive project for the adaptation of the Via del Centenario plant must be presented which, once examined by the municipal offices, must be forwarded to the Region by June 30. for final approval. If all goes well, as we think, work will begin immediately afterwards ”.
These have been very intense weeks at the Arcieri Città di Terni home since the 3D World Cup in September is upon us. The organizational machine is in full swing and the first beneficial effects of this event on the local economic fabric are already being seen: “There is no longer a free hotel room in the city for the World Championships week. There are already many national teams that have signed up for the competition that we are honored to host and organize. Our plant is ready and fully complies with the directives indicated to us by the World Archery “.
As regards the Umbria Region, the president Stefano Tombesi added: “I have tried to contact several times but without being able to have an interlocutory. Very sorry – he concludes – not having been able to have a meeting with the regional councilor of reference. The absence of the Region would be serious, which is why I trust that, sooner or later, we will be able to have a profitable contact with the institution “.
