Another flag flies on the Palazzo di Città di Modica. Thanks to the path taken by the Municipality of Modica in terms of #environmental sustainability, it has been possible to reach another very important milestone that sees the PLASTIC FREE flag flying at Palazzo San Domenico.
“We are proud of this achievement – affirms the Councilor for the environment Pietro Lorefice – because it certifies once again that Modica is a city that respects the environment. We have worked a lot in recent years in this direction, we have managed to sensitize people to make the right choices while respecting the environment and today is the right recognition for the whole city. We are confident that commitment and constant attention today will allow us to have a Planet tomorrow. This important recognition has been given only to three municipalities in Sicily, while in all of Italy only fifty, have obtained this recognition that makes us proud and motivated. Another piece of the path undertaken by the city with a view to respecting the environment in order to achieve #carbonneutrality (a zero-impact city). “
