After brilliantly passing the departmental and regional phase, seven judokas from JC Couvrot had an appointment on May 14 and 15, 2022 for the Grand Est junior championship, the highest level in this age group. Among the women, Shaima and Lily obtain a magnificent bronze medal. Zoé and Lucie rank 7th.
Among the men, Anton was eliminated in the quarter-finals, also ranking 7th. Lucas fails to get out of the pool. Quentin comes out in the quarter-finals and imitates Lily and Shaima with a 3rd place after intense fights. The club thus counts 3 medals at this level of competition. A very nice reward for the supervisors who have been working hard for months with the whole group.
The end of the season will now be devoted to exams for grade passages, the last tests for the club’s judokas.
