Providence police said a man was shot in a park Sunday night.
Officers responded to Billy Taylor Park on Camp Street around 8 p.m., according to WJAR.
Police said a 26-year-old man was shot on the basketball court. He was being treated at Miriam Hospital.
Detectives were seen interviewing witnesses. They said the victim was not cooperating.
Crime scene tape lined basketball courts, and what appeared to be shell casings littered the pavement.
No arrests have been made.
