Logos fights to qualify for the playoff of the Azteks Basketball League

After an intense double-header, in which they achieved very close results, the Logos club is fully involved in the fight for its qualification for the Liga Azteks México de Basquetbol playoffs.

The male and female Oaxacan teams, directed by Professor Daniel Muñoz. they came out with good dividends from the matches corresponding to dates seven and eight of the first force circuit of the basketball league based in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico.

DOUBLE WIN FOR MALE LOGOS

In the men’s category, the Logos club achieved a double victory. In the first game, against Star Players, it was a very fast game, strong and with markings that did not give clear opportunities, leaving the score at the end of the second quarter 14 to 17 in favor of Logos.

For the second half, the Oaxacan quintet increased the advantage, to leave the final score 40 to 49 for Logos. Fifth win of the season in which the best scorers were Yanir Martínez, Eliel García and Yahir León with 13, 13 and 12 points, respectively.

In their second match, Logos faced Deportivo Mictlán, in a very close duel, in which the score was tied at 22 equals at half time.

Finally, Logos took the victory with cards of 50-41. The best scorers for Logos were Eliel García with 19 points and Yahir León with 26 points.

With the double victory achieved last weekend, Logos gets into the top four places in the general classification, in the men’s first force category of the Liga Azteks de Basquetbol México.

FEMALE LOGOS WITH A WON AND A LOST

For his part, the women’s representative of Logos, added a game won and one lost, in the visit he made last weekend to Mexican lands.

Logos was victorious against the reinforced Sparks, winning by a lofty score 43 to 28. The best scorers for Logos were Nubia Aguilar with 16 units and Miyorsi Aparicio with 14.

For the second game, the Logos squad was weighed down by the fatigue of the trip and the first game, falling by a tight score of 40 to 43 against the Cosado team. The players Mariana Ogarrio with 15 points and Fany Lara with nine, were the best scorers of the Oaxacan team.

The Oaxacan women’s squad registers six wins and two losses, placing them in second place in the standings in the first women’s force.
