A month ago, Kim Clijsters announced that she is canceling her second comeback. She will therefore no longer play competition, but she will still pull out her racket for a demonstration in the Netherlands.
On Sunday 5 June she will play grass tennis with Team Kim Clijsters. The opponent will be the team of Kiki Bertens, also a former professional player.
Clijsters and Bertens do not enter the field alone. Bertens can count on ex-Wimbledon winner Richard Krajicek and our Elise Mertens. Clijsters has former Sjeng Schalken as a teammate.
The teams challenge each other in 2 singles matches and 1 doubles match. Each lot consists of one set.
Clijsters won the 2003 Rosmalen tournament after a final against Justine Henin. Two years earlier, they had turned the tables.
