The Villeneuve – Les Angles karate club, which joined ASV judo after the departure of its founder and trainer, Cédril Rouby, almost two years ago, still exists and continues to obtain excellent departmental results, regional and even national.
Under the impetus of their coaches Tin Truong, Adrien Bourgue, Ophélie Adolphe and Léa Rollet, the club has just signed great performances by successfully presenting two students at the 2nd dan of black belt, Lucas Debatista and Ilona Marchand.
In addition, four students qualified for the minimal French championship in Villebon-sur-Yvette: Zelad Sokolowski, Zyad Zeghli, Ethan Durieu and Andréa Marchand. If the first two failed in the first round, Ethan reached the quarter-finals and Andréa brought back the silver medal.
The club, which has suffered greatly from the Covid period, is still alive and well and still succeeding in results and training young people.
