I’m really happy to have helped the team with two wins recently. Our team is great – from the rookie to our two Olympic champions Lasha Shavdatuashvili from Georgia and the Czech Lukas Krpalek and other top-class players like the Dutchman Roy Meyer, the Swede Marcus Nyman and others. We have a great mix in the team. I can learn a lot from these greats and the national and international opponents in the Bundesliga that I can fight against are great.

The athlete, who lives in Munich and trains at the federal base in Großhadern, says he has to watch his weight very carefully, but it’s worth it and it’s a lot of fun…
