The world No.1 in her category, individual bronze medalist at the Tokyo Olympics last summer, brings France its third title in this Euro, after those won by Shirine Boukli (-48 kg) and Marie-Eve Gahie (-70 kg).
At 22, Romane Dicko, already European champion in 2018 and 2020, has never lost a single fight in three appearances in the competition.
On Sunday, she bent all her opponents by ippon, being particularly expeditious in the quarter-finals by beating the Polish Kinga Wolszczak in 44 seconds.
In the final against the world No.3, Dicko quickly took the lead on a waza-ari after 30 seconds. 1 min 30 from the end of a controlled fight, she finally knocked down Hershko on a new ippon.
France ends the competition as the best nation with eight medals.
