Judo: Morgana De Paoli bronze at the Italian Junior Championships in Ostia

Morgana De Paoli is increasingly the girl of records. On Sunday 15 May the young Riccione judoka took home a beautiful bronze medal in the Juniores Under 21 category from PalaPellicone in Ostia, despite her still being 17 years old. With four wonderful matches, one of which was lost due to penalties and three won by Ippon (the Judo KO), the athlete of the Judo section of the Polisportiva Riccione won his eighth medal in a federal judo final. De Paoli confirmed his national record among the Under 17s and faced Junior athletes with great style and determination, so much so that he won the final in just 4 seconds. In two weeks the Riccione athlete will be in Coimbra to participate in the last European Cup before the European Championships. A medal on that occasion could open the doors for her to call up the Italian national team for the Under 17 European Championships.
