“The best teams will be there. If we can pass a few laps, that would already be great, ”slips Dominique Garcia, vice-president of AJBD 21-25, realistic in view of the forces present.

Winners in their category at the Burgundy-Franche-Comté championships in April, Antoine Rupp (-81 kg/Dijon Judo club), Shahanah Chovot (-63 kg/Dijon Judo club), Lië Chaillou (-57 kg/Semur) and Hugo Brochin (-66 / Quetigny) are traveling in the Paris region.

In confidence, they all are. But the one who has garnered the most lately is called Émile Notebaert. At the beginning of May, during the European Junior Cup in Nanterre, the Quetignois (-73 kg) won a bronze medal with the French judo team. This weekend, he will match alongside Jérémy Hermelin, also third, at the French university championships 1re senior division in April. Unity is strength.
