Jisoo Woo (34, Seoul Medical Center) achieved two gold medals in badminton at the Deflying Olympic (Hearing Paralympic Games).

Jisoo Woo won the gold medal in the men’s badminton singles event of the 2021 Cassias do Sul Olympics held at the CIE Sports Hall in Cassias do Sul, Brazil on the 11th (local time) by defeating Shin Seon-soo (24, Gimcheon City Hall) 2-1.

Woo Ji-soo and Seo Myeong-soo, who placed 1st and 2nd side by side in the individual event, collaborated to win a gold medal in the men’s doubles.

Korea, which defeated Thailand 2-0 in the quarterfinals, defeated Lithuania 2-1 in the final to rise to the top.

Korea also added two medals in table tennis that day.

Lee Chang-jun (42, Seoul City Hall) won a silver medal in the men’s singles, and Mo Yun-sol (35, Gyeongbuk National Sports Association) won a bronze medal in the women’s singles.

So far, Korea has harvested 10 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals.
