Jimmy Butler left Game 3 against Celtics with knee injury

The alarms are set off within the Miami Heat. Jimmy Butler had to leave the court during the third game of the NBA Eastern Conference final against the Boston Celtics.

The star forward would be dealing with an inflammation in his right knee, according to a report by journalist Shams Charania of The Athletic.

At the moment there are no further details about Butler’s physical problem, but his availability is in doubt for the fourth game of the series, to be held next Monday, May 23, again at the TD Garden in Boston.

The 32-year veteran’s absence due to injury would be a devastating blow for a South Florida team that finished the regular season in first place in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 53 wins and 29 losses.
