Highlighting that inclusive initiatives are implemented so that the young people of the 217 municipalities enter sports from an early age, the head of the Poblano Sports Institute (INPODE)Yadira Lira Navarro presented the “Tournament of Champions Puebla 2022”.
The official added that, for this edition, in addition to soccer and basketball, they included baseball, volleyball and athletics, as well as contact sports such as boxing, taekwondo and karate do for a total of eight disciplines.
He recalled that four stages are contemplated: municipal, regional, macro-regional and state, with the aim of involving the 217 municipalities that make up the state.
In addition, he announced that this tournament will serve to detect talents and form the pre-selections with a view to participating in the qualifying stages towards the CONADE Nationals in 2023.
Finally, he thanked the presidents of the sports associations that make up this fair for their presence, and invited municipal sports directors and councilors to register through the website: www.inpode.mx, where they can find the general announcement and the technical annexes of each discipline.
