Important home wins for Dallas and Philadelphia in NBA

The Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers have tied the game to 2-1 with home wins in the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoff quarterfinal series. The Mavs beat the Phoenix Suns 103-94 on Friday, while the 76ers beat the Miami Heat 99-79 on the return of star Joel Embiid. The fourth duels of the two series will take place again on Sunday in Dallas and Philadelphia.

Dallas already led by 18 points. In the closing stages, Phoenix came close again, and a three-pointer from Reggie Bullock a minute from time finally decided the game. Luka Doncic narrowly missed a “triple double” with the Mavs with 26 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. Chris Paul didn’t have a good day with the Suns, the 37-year-old playmaker made seven turnovers in the first half for the first time in his long NBA career. The guests came to a total of 17 turnovers.

Embiid missed the first two games of the series due to a facial injury and a minor concussion. The center played with a black face mask and had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Jimmy Butler’s 33 points didn’t help Miami either.
