A film about the career and life of Michael Jordan will inevitably see the light of day before the end of time. The project logically obsesses some big names in world cinema, likeIdris Elba |, the British superstar of “The Wire”, among others. Elba discussed this idea with the interested party in person, as he told in an interview with Sneaker Shopping.
“I told Michael Jordan: I want to play you in a film. He replied: I’m not ready for that yet. I was very serious. In the idea that I have of the thing, it would not be on Michael Jordan the basketball player, but the businessman. He is an ingenious businessman, very intelligent.
Not much is said about his charity work, but it is important. That’s where I wanted to go. But he’s not ready for that.”
MJ loves being involved in projects that concern him way too much to give the green light so easily, even if the person asking him is one of the most famous actors on the planet.
