The name Jerdy Schouten was regularly mentioned in the media as a potential reinforcement for Feyenoord. The Bologna midfielder has now been called up for the Orange for the first time. Analyst Hans Kraay Jr. still thinks it is a shame that the Rotterdammers did not put any effort into Schouten at an earlier stage.
“He has really not played so remarkably differently in the last two months. He actually always plays well. I am therefore not shocked that he is there, because I think that Feyenoord in particular has been sleeping.
