New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo has always been a fan favorite, even back when he was with the Chicago Cubs until last season. He is known for always engaging with the fans and trying to create the best experience for those in attendance. However, he took this to a new level when he gave a fan a baseball in the craziest way.

New York Yankees’ Anthony Rizzo has a crazy way of giving baseballs to fans
According to Jomboy Media Vice President Talkin’ Jake, the way Rizzo gave him that baseball was something that had never been done before. Jake was behind the Yankees dugout at the game yesterday, May 22nd, and in the 10th inning of the game he and Rizzo exchanged looks and what happened next was absolutely outrageous.
Yankee Stadium, like all other professional sports, has tall netting to protect fans in the stands. After catching a glimpse of Jake, Rizzo proceeded to throw the baseball at the dugout fence which threw the baseball high in the air, over the net and into Jake’s hands. Anthony Rizzo would probably never do it again, even if he tried a million times.
Jake explained it as something he had never seen before. He even asked some of Rizzo’s former teammates if he’d ever done that before, and they all said no.
“So what happens next?” Jake joked about his friendship with New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo.
“Rizzo snatched an empty water bottle from my hand in spring practice while I was turning and looking at the first baseline railing when my hand flew open. He threw them at my feet again and ran away smiling they are best friends. (Duh, I still got the bottle lol)” – @Chrissy
