Ganghwa-gun, Sinjeong Sports Park Children’s Water Playground Opened |
[미디어투데이=안정태 기자] Ganghwa-gun will open a children’s water play area at Sinjeong Sports Park from the 14th.
This facility, built in Seonwon-myeon Shinjeong Sports Park, completed construction at the end of 2019, but the opening was delayed due to the corona virus, but as social distancing was lifted last month, it broke the long silence and finally opened.
The military focused on safety and hygiene, equipped state-of-the-art filtration facilities, and obtained eco-friendly certifications so that parents can use it with confidence. Ganghwa-gun has no water play facilities in the past, so it is expected to quench the thirst of children and their parents, including infants, and establish itself as a summer attraction in Ganghwa-gun.
The facility is equipped with a combination play area, water tunnel, water drop, floor fountain, outdoor pool (to be opened on the 21st), changing rooms (Mongolian style), outdoor shower facilities, shade screens, and benches. Starting on May 14th, it will be operated only on weekends for the time being, and will also be operated on weekdays (closed on Mondays) when the school vacation season is in full swing in July. On the other hand, Sinjeong Sports Park has a water play facility on a site of about 50,000 square meters, a sports center (badminton), a baseball field, an ecological pond, a walking trail, and a parking lot.
