Anadolu Efes will host Galatasaray Nef in the second match of the semi-finals series of the ING Basketball Super League. The fight, which will be played on Sunday, May 29 at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, will begin at 19.00 and will be broadcast live on Tivibu Spor 2.
In the first match of the series, Galatasaray Nef won an incredible 70-105 win against Anadolu Efes and took the field advantage while taking a 1-0 lead in the series. This win also went down in history as the most different win in the history of the league by the yellow-red people against Anadolu Efes.
In Galatasaray, Dee Bost finished with 22 points and 3 assists in the game with 6 3-pointers, while Isaih Canaan had 15 points, Kerry Blackshear and David Kravish had 11 points. Tibor Pleiss had 11 points – 7 rebounds, Chris Singleton 10 and Egemen Güven 8 points for Anadolu Efes.
In the Basketball Super League, Galatasaray Nef advanced to the semi-finals by passing Bahçeşehir College 2-0 in the quarter-finals. Under the management of Andreas Pistiolis, the yellow-red team, which won 10 consecutive wins in the league, is also the only undefeated team in the playoffs. Anadolu Efes, on the other hand, managed to beat Pınar Karşıyaka 2-1 in the quarter-final playoff series.
In the play-off semi-finals series, the team that has won three victories will get a final visa, and the team that passed the round will share their trump card for the championship with the winner of the Fenerbahçe Beko – Darüşşafaka match in the final.
