The UANL basketball players continue to make history thanks to their good results on the court.
Almost five years have passed since the arrival of the coaching staff headed by Federico Sánchez as head coach and Guillermo Sánchez working specifically in the women’s branch, where the players have positioned Tigres at the national level.

Now, with the birth of the women’s branch of the National Professional Basketball League, the players have one more opportunity to continue showing their quality under the boards with the birth of the Fuerza Regia team, where four UANL representatives (three former players and a student) are already part of this team.

The university game is of very good quality and it helped me get to Fuerza Regia. It is a drastic change: the training, the discipline and the concentrations, but it has been well worth it. The coaches support us and have given us great confidence to face this commitment”.
Difficult road to professionalism
For Priscilla Adame Reyes (jersey 13) The road to professionalism has been difficult, but thanks to the experience of playing for Tigres and the YBOA, the doors were opened for him to face the commitment of being part of Fuerza Regia.

With Tigres we had great academic and sporting triumphs and it is a difficult road, but we are on the right track”, said the graduate of the Faculty of Psychology and the Master’s Degree in the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the UANL.
The opportunity you’ve been waiting for

The pandemic prevented the Business Administration student at the UANL School of Public Accounting and Administration from debuting in the tournaments organized by CONDDE and the ABE League, but her enthusiasm never faltered and she was selected in the team’s try outs. She today she is eager to be able to debut with Fuerza Regia Femenil.
I’m excited. I’m the youngest, but I train the same. I am acquiring the best of my colleagues and I know that this will make me grow. I was very pleased to see the team’s work as we have many opportunities. There are many good players and it’s hard to win a place in the starting lineup”.
