After the successful weekend in Karlsruhe, our athletes completed their next competition on May 7th. For some, this was the first opportunity to show their knowledge in front of the audience.
The children have made a good effort again and the coaching team with them 20 medals in total proudly made, of which 3 gold, 5 silver and 12 bronze.
In the morning the U15, then the U11 age group was there, each with enthusiastic FT athletes. After a warm-up together, everyone had at least 3 fights in their weight class. Some of ours had to go to the mat according to the draw, but no one forgot to look to their teammate as a friend and not a rival. It’s really nice to see how the cohesion between our young athletes is growing week by week!
A full emotional day is behind us: the warm-up together, Luka Baranyi’s win, Liam Linder’s fair play moment… it’s worth it as a coach for that!
