French Open – Novak Djokovic comments on Boris Becker’s situation and feels with the ex-coach: “It breaks my heart”

There is a special connection between Djokovic and the former German tennis player because of their collaboration between 2013 and 2016. “We’ve had a great relationship over the years, especially when we’ve worked together and achieved great success,” said the 35-year-old. Together they won six Grand Slam titles and a total of 25 tournament wins.

To underline his appreciation for the time together, Djokovic now wants to be there for Becker’s family: “I was in contact with his son Noah and asked if I could support them in any way.”

“It’s just sad that someone I know so well and is a legend in our sport is in a situation like this,” Djokovic continued. “I hope he stays healthy and strong.”
