Former Ajax player Milik expects another duel in Marseille: ‘I don’t feel any pressure’

Arkadiusz Milik is confident that Olympique Marseille will qualify for the Conference League final at the expense of Feyenoord. The former Ajax player struggled with a minor injury in the run-up to the return, but states that he is available for trainer Jorge Sampaoli.

Milik indicates that he has not spoken to former teammates of Ajax in the run-up to the matches against the Rotterdam team. “No, but it’s a special match, that’s for sure,” he says at Wednesday’s press moment. “We were not good in the first leg, but we learn from our mistakes and tomorrow (Thursday, ed.) We are ready. I have a lot of confidence in it at the moment. Everything is possible.”

The Polish striker emphasizes that Feyenoord can expect a witchcraft in Stade Vélodrome. “I don’t feel any pressure. We have a unique chance to make it to the final. We have extra motivation from our supporters. I think tomorrow will be a different game.”

Marseille and Feyenoord kick off in France on Thursday evening at 9 p.m. The Stadium Club defends a 3-2 lead.
