In the Central Patio of the Government Palace, the Secretary General wished luck to more than 600 athletes who will participate in these national games.
In his message, Jáuregui Moreno expressed that this delegation is already part of the history of the state, and asked them to feel proud, where they give everything in the last stretch, in the last kilometer since Chihuahua sends them with great honor.
“The work that more than 600 athletes who are going to represent us have done is not little, feel deeply proud, show the country that a lot of north runs through your veins, made up of the resistance of our Rarámuri brothers, the strength of the victors of the desert and the indomitable will of all Chihuahuans. Don’t be afraid,” he said.
For her part, Teporaca Romero, director of the Chihuahuan Sports Institute, affirmed the effort of the athletes who, despite two years of uncertainty due to the pandemic, avoided stopping training as much as possible, where they showed great motivation to get out of this situation.
“Be owners of your goals and make them come true, carry the name of Chihuahua high up, take advantage of this enormous opportunity and reap the triumph of your great effort,” he said.
He also recognized the work of the coaches and parents, who are also the pillars of the athletes.
The CONADE National Games will be held in Culiacán, Sinaloa, where more than 4,000 athletes from all over the country will meet from June 7 to July 10.
