Guido Renckens had a positive outlook on life. This is evident from the fact that he tried to turn his handicap into his strength. He founded a sports association for the disabled and was president of the Catholic Association for the Disabled for 49 years. “He was always among people, and he knew neighborhoods like no other,” say people who knew him.
