A real home armory. This is what the carabinieri found in the home of a man residing in Ostia. With a police history, the soldiers of the Lidense company, during a targeted anti-drug activity, arrived in the man’s apartment in piazzale Lorenzo Gasparri.
The men with the gun found 38 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of hashish, hidden in different parts of the house, as well as handwritten notes with names and numbers. In addition to this also 2,600 euros in cash, three 100-euro banknotes found to be false, material for weighing, packaging and cutting the drug.
Drugs and fake money but not only, the carabinieri have in fact found a real armory consisting of 6 knives, 1 brass knuckles, 1 baseball bat and 1 hatchet, all subjected to seizure. The man, after the validation of the arrest before the court of Rome, was subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrest.
During the same extraordinary service, the carabinieri of Ponte Galeria instead arrested, again for detention for the purpose of drug dealing, a 27-year-old offender, found in possession of about 24 grams of hashish in his home, already divided into doses, as well as material for weighing and packaging, clearly indicating the purpose of selling. The arrest was validated by the court of Rome.
