Deportivo Cali defeated Once Caldas as a visitor 0-1 in Manizales by day 18 of the Colombian league in the stadium Palogrande. During the game, the local team was totally superior with many clear goal options, but very little effectiveness and Cali with the clearest one they had, took the three points from the Caldense capital.
In the first minutes of the initial stage, both teams positioned themselves in the middle of the field, with the Caldense team being a little deeper and generating the first long-distance shots with Marlon Piedrahita and Marcelino Carreazo; Cali, for its part, worked to maintain order in the defense and from there to play from the bottom.

In the end, Cali got a result that is of little use in the table, but in the moral and mental part it is of great virtue for the Copa Libertadores match next Wednesday against Corinthians. For his part, the white complicated his classification to the group of the eight best in the tournament.
