Dender champion in 1st National and so 1B is complete

Dender has crowned himself champion in 1st National and can thus prepare for 1B next season.

Dender finished 4th in the regular season, but the final ticket for 1B would be determined in the play-offs. There, Dender performed very well and also had a helping hand with an administrative error by Club Liège. The people of Liège had drawn up one youth player too little in their mutual duel in the regular competition. As a result, Club Luik’s win was converted into a 0-5 forfeit loss.

Thanks to these three points, Dender jumped to the lead and only a win against Dessel was enough to secure 1B. Dender won 1-0 and can thus prepare for 1B.

With Dender included, the series layout is now complete. RWDM, KMSK Deinze, Waasland-Beveren, Lommel SK, Lierse-Kempenzonen, Excelsior Virton, Beerschot and Dender. Finally, there are the promise teams of Racing Genk, Standard Liège, Club Brugge and Anderlecht.
