Death of Ray Liotta, American actor and star of “Freedmen”

DEATH – American actor Ray Liotta, star of the legendary mafia film Freedmendied at the age of 67, several American media announced on Thursday May 26.

The star died in his sleep, says the site TMZ, citing a source close to Ray Liotta. The website Deadline also reported the actor’s death which occurred while filming in the Dominican Republic.

In addition to his mafia role in Freedmen in 1990, Ray Liotta was known to American audiences for starring in the baseball movie Until the end of the dream in 1989.

More than sixty films in the last 20 years

He first came to prominence on screen in 1986 with Dangerous in all respectswhich earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

In 2001, Ridley Scott offered him to play in Hannibal, the continuation of Silence of the lambs. Afterwards Ray Liotta will not stop shooting, he has in fact more than sixty films to his credit between 2000 and today. He is thus on the poster of films signed Nick Cassavetes (John Q, Yellow), Guy Ritchie (Revolver), Steven Soderbergh (No Sudden Move). Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez offer him a small role in the sequel to Sin City – I Killed For Her. Lately, he toured with Elizabeth Bank in Cocaine Bear, which is not scheduled for release before 2023.
