SURABAYA RAYA ZONE– Ahead of the inaugural training on May 9, 2022, Persebaya Surabaya continues to finalize its new squad to face Liga 1 2022-2023.
The following is a recap of Persebaya’s new squad, which is filled with young players in their 20s.
Interestingly, many of those who joined Persebaya Surabaya were labeled as the former Indonesian national team. Anyone?
With the presence of Alta Ballah, the squad made by Aji Santoso has a strength of 26 players for League 1 next season.

Alta Ballah himself was once called by Shin Tae-yong for the training center of the Indonesian national team.
But it’s not only Alta Ballah who has the status of a national team player. There are also Ernando Ari and Andhika Ramadhani who are part of the Indonesian U-23 National Team at the 2022 SEA Games.
The two young players both played as goalkeepers.
Then Koko Ari, Rizky Ridho, Dandi Maulana, and Salman Alfarid also labeled the Indonesian National Team.
