Coppa Italia: Ivan Perisic hands Inter the cup with 2 goals in extra time | football Italy

Inter have won the Coppa Italia for the 8th time, the first time since 2011.

Match winner in Rome was an old acquaintance. With 2 goals in extra time, Ivan Perisic (ex-Roeselare and Club Brugge) made the difference against Juventus. After 90 minutes it was 2-2.

After just 7 minutes of play, Inter took the lead. A beautiful long shot from Barella disappeared into the right corner.

After the break, it was Juventus who took control of the game. Alex Sandro equalized again in the 50th minute, after which Vlahovic further deepened the score for the Old Lady from the rebound.

In the 80th minute, after consultation with the VAR, Inter were awarded a penalty for a foul by Bonucci. Calhanoglu placed the ball in the top right corner and brought Internazionale alongside again.

In the extra time, Inter disbanded its devils. Perisic gave the Nerazzurri another lead from the spot after the intervention of the VAR. Less than five minutes later, the Croat hit again, this time from the edge of the box.
