Much criticized after the scenes of chaos that occurred around the Stade de France this Saturday evening, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin questioned Monday a “massive, industrial and organized fraud of counterfeit tickets” and reported “30,000 to 40,000 » English supporters present around the enclosure without valid tickets.

A total of 22,000 tickets have been officially allocated to supporters of each of the two finalist clubs. The editors of the note also warned that “several hundred English supporters will try to enter the stadium by forcing the turnstiles and the various access doors” and therefore called for “the greatest vigilance” at the various checkpoints.

“If this meeting does not present any particular risks in connection with violent supporterism, disturbances to public order are to be feared, in particular due to the very large influx of supporters from all over Europe”, have– they warned. The note also insisted on the incidents which could generate possible attempts of intrusion in the stadium on the part of certain supporters of the “Reds”.
